Check out this fluro number from the colourful 80’s. Remember this was the same era that gave us Prince , Billy Idol and hair bands like Motley Crew. This was the EBC club tshirt around ’88 and it was designed by the late Andrew Murphy when he was right into his Waxhead label.

Growing up at Cronulla Murph was a talented kid. Whether he was designing his Waxhead clothing label or hitting the lip he never did anything half hearted. Banksy took him under his wing on his travels to Indo and to the desert and when Murph returned he had a new big wave appreciation and began powering at Voodoo and carving up the beachies. This pic popping a casual air was taken mid 80’s by Chris Stroh
