Wayne (Zombie) Johnston’s five surfing sons have found an unique way to celebrate their late fathers memory. They commissioned Jacko’s to produce 5 individual retro single fins complete with vintage logos for each brother shaped by Laurie Froggy Byrne. The blue colour was Wayne’s favorite Well done to everyone involved.

Jackson Surfboards co-owners Jim Parkinson and Dave Mattison celebrate 40 years of building fine surfcraft down at Jacko’s this year. Jim who is a multi talented shaper, experience is second to none on The Southside. While Dave’s restorations are in full demand as well. The boys are producing some great product and show no signs of slowing down. The factory is like a shrine to Cronulla Surfing history and well worth a look. Jim and Dave photos by Chris Stroh

In the year 1956 on the date reported as Mar-56 – Ian Nolan, a male aged 13 was Bathing near Cronulla near Sydney. An unknown shark was reported to have attacked Ian Nolan. The attack was non-fatal (Right thigh gashed swim fin torn).
