Spike was one of Cronullas favorite sons of the Eighties. From maxing Point to competing with CBC he had a world of respect photo taken at Wanda by Chris Stroh.

The Wanda House

The old Wanda house was a well known hang and was even used in a scene in the original Puberty Blues.It was a place to store your board under the floorboards for many lucky surfers.

Herbie was a likeable character who could light up a room with his smile and his presence. He was a fearless Cronulla Point standout throughout the 70’s and 80’s on the biggest days and a fine shaper as well. Photo of the typical Herb stance at The Point by Chris Stroh Circa 80’s.

The Wanda House

The old Wanda House. A familiar sight during the 70’s and early 80’s on the hill just above the Wanda Clubhouse.Scene of a few parties and at one point had a skate ramp in the backyard.

Stiff Skateboards

Local Cronulla skaters created Stiff Skateboards in the early 80’s. There motto was” If it aint stiff it aint worth shit”. The boys even built a concrete bowl in the backyard.Tracks adv ’82.
