G&S shaper Bonza Bob was renown for his Conneely Hulls and his ability at Cronulla Point on those maxed out days where he would sit on the hill pre surf with a bag of fins deciding on which ones to use. From Tracks Magazine mid 70’s.

The Wall was turned into rubble while The Alley and South Cronulla looked like a War Zone. The same swell knocked down large areas of coastline along the East Coast.

1974 Cronulla Cinemas became home to The Last Picture Show venue. On Friday nights they played the latest Surf Movies at $1.50 entry. Saturday nights was band night with the best Aussie talent like The LaDeDas, Sherbert, Stevie Wright Band,Tamam Shud, Flake, Matt Taylor and heaps more talent entry was $1.40.
