A mate of Tim Vanderlaans called Peter Hanlay thought we would be interested in looking through his old school “maths” book. He collected every Sun Herald newspaper “surf” article from the summer of 1963 and 1964 .There are lots of great snippets of local guys like Jacko, Birdsall, Jack Eden and crew, and the news of the time.
