Redhouse 1960.

Posted: March 20, 2013 at 10:33 am

Redhouse was the name given to a beachbreak down by the wall between Elouera and North Cronulla . It was  titled  because of the old red house that was perched right on the cliffs above until it toppled into the sea and was washed away in a storm. This shot shows a huge swell battering Redhouse in 1960 courtesy of a Japanese earth quake photo Greame Steele collection.
