Patto began his shaping career in the Cronulla area approx 30 years ago in the early 80’s and since those early days working at Force 9 and then branching out with his own PCC Surfboard label has developed a reputation as one of Australia’s top shapers and progressive design thinkers. He has a passion for retro designs but stays well on top of the latest innovations. Below Patto with one of his 1980 shapes and early logo.

Gary Yealland

Gazza is a familiar face around Cronulla, with son Scotty a Cronulla Point standout the pair have been regular sight and longtime fixtures around the headlands and waves. Gary is also known for owning the extremely popular Ne-Hi burger shop in the 70’s in the lane way across from the station.

Bobby Brown Memorial Comp Winners

The Memorial Comp for the late Bobby Brown ran for 3 years. Midget Farrelly won it in ’68, local star Frank Latta took top honors in ’69 and Qld surfer Andrew McKinnon won it in 1970 and still has the trophy in his possesion. Photo Steve Core.
