Taylor Bay Bar lies in the middle of Botany Bay and only breaks a handful of times a year when huge storm swells power into the Bay. Local Ramsgate surfers back in the 70’s like the Hughes brothers Gary and Dean were regulars. This shot taken in 2013.

Cronulla’s beach front has been rocked on many occasions from brutal storms over the decades but probably none so much as the damage done to Northies and The Wall during that massive storm in the mid Seventies.

PCC Surfboards is the brainchild of Stuart Paterson who has spent around 3 decades honing his shaping skills. As owner/shaper his approach is kind of unique, “Its not so much about a shape so much as the concept” Patto revealed. With a strong Cronulla following built up through years of innovation and quality shapes PCC continues to power on down in the Taren Pt factory where this pic of Patto at play was taken by Chris Stroh.
