Late 1990’s. Greg McCarthy has been shooting surf shots since the 70’s, and is pictured here at Garie Beach sometime around the turn of the century. Greg always had the latest and greatest equipment, seen here with his Canon EOS 1 and 800mm lens. Tim Vanderlaan’s photo of Greg was shot on a 1970 medium format 6×6 Mamiya C330 film camera
