Greg McCarthy

Local photographer Greg McCarthy had been experimenting with different types of remote control radio cameras for quite some time in the 90’s. The problem was at the time it was very expensive and you had to be close enough to the action to reach the signal from shore. With plenty of frustrating hours put in eventually Macca and Dave “Speg” McKinnley eventually connected resulting in taking out a prestigous award winning Canon photo contest and the cover of Tracks Photo Annual in ’98. These days Go Pros have solved those technical problems.
