Glenn is well known for his straight lace approach to life , his demolition of rival competitors in heats and his casual but ripping style. However when it counts he can bust and bring out the big moves from his bag of tricks. Below a small taste of Pringle magic popping fins for the lens at his beloved Dunny Bowls photo Chris Stroh Mid 80’s riding for Cats Clothing and Pacific Dreams Surfboards.

Here’s an oldie but a goody of three of The Point regulars back in the early 70’s on a party wave at The Point. The late Chris Vickers, knee doggy Rob McLaggen and Jacko shaper Jim Parkinson. I think Chris Vickers was one of the of the original characters that the book Puberty Blues was based around. Photo by Rob King courtesy Jackson Surfboards.

Heres another retro moment from an EBC presso Circa early to mid 80’s at Northies pub. This time its red hot goofyfoot Rod Baldwin in the wig, along with cowgirl Sue and Mevo dressed as a super hero. Rod scrubs up pretty well with a bit of makeup and low lights. The moustache and hairy chest was the only giveaway. photo Stroh

Jacko is a Cronulla legend, who else has spent the last 50 plus years dedicated to surfing. The Jackson Surfboard factory he opened up in the Sixties is still in the same location today and he is still pumping out quality surfboards. Jacko has been a long supporter of local talent and his dedication to the sport is endless. This pic is of Jacko with his quiver in 1963 courtesy of the Jackson Surfboards photo album.

In 1987 it was Gary Green who came up with the idea for Billabongs latest advertising campaign called Bad Billy’s. Bad Billy’s was the skull and cross bones logo that was a extremely successful marketing move that targeted the youthful bad boy type image.
