In the 60’s and 70’s Surfers and Lifeguards were enemies. The long haired Surfie bums versus the clean cut scungy wearing lawmen who would place there flags on the best bank and mow down the surfers with their Clubbie boats. Today Lifeguards like Scotty Yealland have bridged the gap showing that the rivalry that once existed is now a thing of the past. Here’s Scotty checking the roof of this Island tube for leaks .
