The 5 Tyte brothers probably pulled a world claim when all five siblings surfed in the one heat together at the Alley Masters. Barry, Wayne, Matt, Peter and Brandon as they appeared in Tracks pic by Veage.

Les Martin

This classic pic of Les Martin was one of the first images to show Shark Islands true potential. Taken in the mid 70’s by ace cameraman Peter Simmons it has lost little of its awesome impact decades later.

Ocean Rythms by Steve Core

Steve Core produced this local 16mm film back in the mid 70’s. It featured a heavy slice of Cronulla waves.The movie now on DVD is well worth a look for fans of the 70’s surf era.
