Late 80’s Ashley Gee was a regular fixture in the lineup every time Shark Island began to rumble. He was on it each new swell and always a candidate to pick up the wave of the day. This shot, Ash finds the zone with the picture featured in a Surfing Life article photographed by Chris Stroh.

Rod Baldwin had the title as King McDunny for several seasons when he notched up several Elouera Boardriders Club Championships in the early to mid 80’s. Rod was pushed all the way by EBC main men the likes of Kelvin Hawkins , Kat , Lips and Jughead to name just a few. Photo taken around ’84 by Chris Stroh at Elouera.
