John Monie

John Monie was a talented surfer he moved to Cronulla and was a shaper and part owner at G&S from ’67 to 69. Around the same time he was playing five-eight for the Sharkies. Monie played 48 games.
Then went on to coach PARRAMATTA. from 1984 to 1989 {won 1986 premiership}

Shoes

Cronulla’s surfing royalty gathered at Shoes to witness the unveiling of a plaque recognizing Sandshoes as a National Surfing Reserve. Much thanks to  Sutherland Shire Surfing and Sutherland Shire Council who’s efforts made it happen.
