Australian born Brett Livingstone Strong today is a world renown artist and sculptor whose work is in high demand in the upper end of the art world, He was Michael Jackson’s artist and his work is displayed in the Whitehouse. In ’79 he carved a John Wayne portrait into a large fallen boulder in the US that sold for a million dollars. Prior to his fame in the early 70’s Livingstone Smith worked at Jackson Surfboards doing spray jobs on boards. Gordon Merchant of Billabong fame also shaped surfboards at Jackos .
